What is the secret of successful companies?
Quite simply – they are able to adapt to any situation and evolve.
But what does a company need to adapt and evolve?
Again, simply – it needs qualified staff who are able to propose and implement the necessary changes.
And who can help?
The Styrian Technology Park, established by the Regional Development Agency for Podravje, is the right place to help! In the framework of the international GIST project, we have developed an online platform for the acquisition of competences in the field of bionic transformation of enterprises, available in all languages of the partnership: https://www.losglobos.eu/form/gist
In order to develop the curriculum for the acquisition of competences in the field of bionic transformation, as well as the platform itself, in a way that best responds to the needs of enterprises, The Styrian Technology Park has involved 30 SMEs and 10 educational institutions in the development process, which will continue to use the platform in the future.
The key educational institution in Slovenia that will use the online platform is the Višja Strokovna Šola Ptuj, a leader in the field of bionics. They have helped us both with the identification of needs and with guidelines for the preparation of didactic materials. The STP has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the VSŠ, which will allow the school to integrate the platform into part of its teaching process.
On Tuesday, 16 May, the STP presented the achievements of the project at the Multiplier event at the VSŠ Ptuj, in particular the aforementioned platform, which will offer both lecturers and students access to new knowledge and practical examples of good practice on how to achieve bionic transformation in a company. Thei students will then transfer this knowledge into the companies where they will build their future careers.
There was a total of 29 participants from 4 different organisation, of which 26 were stakeholders from 3 differnt organisation: ŠC Ptuj – School Centre Ptuj, VSŠ Ptuj – VET College Ptuj, and ZRC Bistra (research organisation). The participants were from different categories: VET teacher, lecturers, assistants, visiting professors, technical staff and administration.
