3rd transnational project meeting took place on September 21 -22, 2022 in Yecla, Spain, organized and hosted by CETEM Furniture and Wood Technology Center of the Murcia Region. All project partner representatives participated in the meeting, either face-to-face or online, the exchange was very fruitful and positive.

The meeting has served to analyze and detail the progress in the preparation of the project’s training material and the next steps for its integration into a digital teaching platform.

In designing the training content the main objective is to train companies in the furniture sector to be able to apply a digital and bionic transformation to their organization and business model. For this, three main aspects are covered:

  • technical skills related to the Enabling Technologies of Industry 4.0;
  • soft and transversal skills to encourage creativity, innovation and communication among staff;
  • and , finally, open leadership skills with commitment to the company, its employees and society.

The GIST project training materials focuse on real world examples, making sure they cover real needs and showcase best practices from existing companies on their digital transformation journey.

As videos are now essential for today’s generation of professional learners, there’s a significant demand for video-based learning among organizations. Therefore GIST decided to expand the digital learning program with content-rich videos available for each of 14 learning units.

Also, the Consortium has begun to look for users for the pilot who are interested in discovering and testing the prepared training material.

Next transnational project meeting is scheduled in January 2023 in Poznan, Poland.
