InnovaWood Multiplier Event

  • Uncategorized

The Multiplier Event organized by InnovaWood on May 25, 2023, took place online and consisted of a rich program with focus on digital transformation and bionic companies.

The event marks the end of the Erasmus+ GIST project by presenting the on-line learning course Facilitator for Bionic Transformation.

The course is designed for companies that seek to keep up with the increasing demands of digital transformation – a challenging task for organizations requiring personnel with the skills they may not had before. Companies that understand how to lead a bionic transformation can make rapid progress and create substantial value.

You can register for the learning course online at https://www.gist-project.eu.

The course is free and open to anyone interested!

The objectives of the event were to introduce the project and its e-Learning platform, showcase the developed materials and didactic examples, and evaluate the event and its content, receiving feedback from the participants.

The ME was structured in a way that allowed the attendees to get a comprehensive view of the project. During the event, Radmila Ustych from InnovaWood presented the project results, starting from the project’s context and consortium, and leading up to the different intellectual outputs and the e-Learning platform, illustrating how each step was carried out. She also walked the participants through the e-learning platform step by step and through the final quiz.

In addition, participants got a broader overview of the digital tools that can support wood/furniture and construction companies in strengthening those key skills and achieving the basic competencies to reach the status of a bionic company. This was presented by an invited speaker Maria Giuffrida from Trust-IT who talked about the DIGINEB.eu platform.

The majority of participants came from colleges and universities in wood and furniture technologies from all around Europe, as well as from cluster and promotion organizations. It was interesting to hear about their experience in using VR and AR technologies and online teaching and learning.

The ME concluded with the presentation of the event’s conclusions and a satisfaction survey, which was conducted by the participants. The course has been very well received by participants. In total, 38 participants expressed their interest in InnvoaWood’s multiplier event and wanted to learn more about the GIST online course.

The analysis of the survey results showed that the attendees were highly satisfied with the event, always above 90%. This high level of satisfaction is a testament to the quality of the project and the effectiveness of the dissemination strategy. They will receive the GIST course presentation and the video recording in a follow-up email.

In conclusion, the GIST Multiplier Event  successfully achieved its objectives. The positive feedback received from the attendees indicates that the event was well-received and met their expectations.
